Slow down, soften, and surrender: find stillness in Yin Yoga

This 60-minute online class offers the space to slow right down and reconnect with your inner landscape through the meditative stillness of Yin Yoga. A gentle yet deeply effective practice, Yin involves long-held, passive postures designed to release tension in the body’s deeper connective tissues—fascia, ligaments, and tendons—while calming the nervous system.

By holding poses for 2–5 minutes with the support of props, Yin Yoga invites us to meet ourselves with compassion and patience. This practice cultivates mobility, flexibility, and joint health, while also creating space for emotional release, introspection, and energetic balance. It’s not about doing more—it’s about allowing more.

Each class begins with grounding, followed by a carefully curated sequence of Yin poses, and closes with 15 minutes of guided relaxation and breathwork to fully restore body and mind.

Who It’s For

Yin Yoga is suitable for most abilities—except during pregnancy. If you’re unsure whether this practice is right for you, feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise. As always, trust your body. Never push through pain or discomfort. Yin is about presence, not performance. Every pose is an invitation to listen, soften, and release—on your terms.

What You’ll Need

You’ll need a yoga mat and any props that help you feel supported and at ease: pillows, cushions, bolsters, blocks, and a blanket for warmth and comfort. The more props you have, the more luxurious your practice will feel. Aim to create a quiet, softly lit space where you can truly let go and settle in.
